Dissapointing
I've never had an offical GameCube controller before, but my impressions of this controller are not good. With the product I got, the L and R buttons are way too stiff, you have to put a lot of pressure to actually press the buttons down. The rest of the buttons are slightly stiff as well. The sticks also came stiff to me but at least it's better to have stiff sticks than loose sticks in my opinion. But those are just minor complaints. The biggest issue about this controller is that the control stick only moves in 8 directions. This is a huge issue with platformer or movement-heavy games. I'm not sure if it's just my Wii console, but at this point you'd do just as well to find some way to stick a keyboard and mouse into the console and just use WASD. This was one of the reasons I bought this controller: to have better control over movement than using WASD on a keyboard with emulation. Just buy the official controller instead.

Swapping Parts
So I didn't purchase this controller colour but I did purchase the controller of the same maker. I purchased this controller to fix a few of my old nintendo controllers (damaged joysticks and springs) and the parts swapped quite easily. The old controllers work just like new now and ill keep this one for spare parts.

Very Good
Exact same design as the original controller. It's also lighter. Works great. Comes in unopened packaging. I ordered 3 and they all came in a big cardboard box with the three separate controllers in unopened packaging. I will definitely order from here again. The only issue I have is how expensive the shipping is.

gamecube controller
Gamecube controllers work just like originals. One of the controllers didn't work. Notified Lukie and they quickly replaced it with a new controller. Great customer service! Would definitely order from them again.

Ok...
I remember having this exact controller; a perfect clone of the Gamecube controller, so much that I thought it was weird it didn't have "Nintendo Gamecube" above the start button. To be honest, it was ok, but several months later, the Z button got stuck, and it SEEMED like (I'm not quite sure to this day) the A and R buttons were not working. It was good before then, but it broke down very easily.

Pleasent Surprise
You know those moments when you're afraid to buy something because you see it was made by a different company and aren't sure if its's going to be somewhat of a failure? This controller decides to go against that bias and say "Hey dude's, I'm actually decent." I was hesitant to buy it when I didn't see it was Nintendo but I found out that it can take a fall, and even though the case of the actual controller would leave one to think of shotty work (the case literally has little pieces of plastic still sticking out that weren't properly sanded off, bought 4 controllers, all 4 have it). However those small pieces are safe and don't cut, thankfully, and are just a small aesthetic displeasure, the controller itself is durable as well as the cord. The connectors can take some roughing so that's also an A+ in my book. For a controller made by a different company it's just as good and deserves a 5 out of 5.

A Decent Replacement
When I purchased this controller, I thought it was an official, Nintendo branded controller. It's not. It is, however, a more than adequate substitute. The buttons are stiff and noisy, but they respond well. The Z button in particular has a click to it that I actually prefer over the original. There are two major flaws with this controller. The left thumbstick doesn't have the same degree of articulation that the original has, and the triggers don't click into place the way they should. None of this affects the gameplay experience very much, but you will notice it while you're playing. If you can't find an official controller in good shape, this is your best alternative.
