| Mr. roboto |

I was a huge fan of the movie, and I would always beg my parents to let me rent this from blockbuster as a kid. I am now a proud owner of this somewhat lackluster game!lol. It's terrible compared to most games, but it's interesting if you are new to it (also cheap, so why not get it?), but I admit that nostalgia was my primary driving force into getting this. Also...the game functioned! Which is the most important aspect considering what we're buying! |

Let's be fair here: Robocop is not a bad game. It's not a good game either. It should be said that this game delivers what you would expect: I mean, it's a movie-based side-scrolling beat-em-up with stiff controls and questionable hit-detection, and lots of level memorization. But it still retains the fact that you're playing as ROBOCOP! It ain't no 5 star NES hit like Contra of Metroid, but it will satisfy your desire to beat up some street punks and shoot some crime lords in the streets of Detroit.

what is there to say about Robocop...growing up, I remember the movie and thinking wow..Murphy a cop from detroit is almost killed when doctors save his life but he is half robot..A cool sleek looking armor an awesome handgun pistol that he spins ans stores in his thigh... the nes game did a good job of getting these details down ,robocop looks good and and the main enemy is in the game. Its a decent game so enjoy!! |

This game is relentless. Though most games developed by Data East were. However, when I played as a kid, there was something amazing about playing a game based on an 'R' rated film. Its not the greatest game in the world, and its not the worst. Since there is no jump in this game, control is limited. This can lead to some very frustraded parts on an already difficult game. Will take MANY tries in order to beat. Good 'cinematics' though! Enjoy |
