The sequel to Fall of the Foot Clan is here. Unlike its predecessor however, this game is much more bland. IT's longer, but the requisite codes that are foud in most Konami games are quite absent from this one. It doesn't even have the one-time fll refill thhat the prior game had, much less a stage select or way to get more lives at the start.
Control wise this game once again gives you the option of an alternate control scheme if you don't like the default one. Other than that there's really not much to say.
Audio wise there are some good tunes but again nothing spectacular. There's a remix of the final stage theme from The Manhattan Project on the NES. The game also feautres surprisingly intelligible speech, even if precious little of that. I didn't even know the Game Boy's audio hardware could handle speech.
Overall it's not a great game but it's not horrible. I definitely recommend at least giving it a try. |
