I am a Nintendo fan for life. I will say that this NES is a well built unit. The simplicity of this machine is wonderful and easy to maintain if necessary. Thanks again Lukie Games. This Nintendo Entertainment System arrived in a timely manner and functions as intended, although has trouble reading cartridges when they are pushed down into their locked position. Be that as it may, the system looks like it was just manufactured yesterday, and the peripherals are in pristine condition. 4.8 out of 5!

My 27 year old daughter and son loved the "old school" Nintendo that I bought for Christmas. They said it was the best Christmas present, it made them feel like little kids again :) Thank you for supplying a quality product at a reasonable price!!

Out of all the consoles I had when I was a kid, this one is by far the greatest. This console has so many of my childhood memories that I regret getting rid of my original NES console. The console is in great condition and comes with a 1yr warranty. I've been playing it quite extensively and really don't expect it to stop working. The only downside and to no fault of Lukie games is that the light gun does not work on HD TVs. Luckily I still have a 32 inch CRT TV that I was able to kill ducks with. I am now passing on the 8-bit experience to my 6 and 4 year old. It's great to see them play a video game that doesn't have HD graphics. They have said the game looks really old. Hahaha! The only thing left is to start building my library of games.

When I was a kid back in my native country of Cuba, I used to play with the nes all the time. Then I left with to th US and forgot about it, because I thought they were not going to be on sale since the console is so old. But when I found it, I had to buy. Forget about ps3, xbox 360, wii; Nes is my childhood; I hope my kids learn to appreciate the nes as much as I have. Definately one of the best consoles made in the world

The Nintendo system came in great condition. No complaints whatsoever. And the neat thing is they include some extra accessories which is great. In regards to the Lukiegames: easy checkout, fast shipping, easy to get a hold of great. Couldn't ask for more!

Soooo happy to finally own a NES! Everything works well and was delivered quite quickly. My only complain would be that you don't get any instructions on how to hook it up to your TV. It was also hard at first to boot the games and they sometime get stuck when you press the cartridge down (as it is supposed to be...). You also have to clean the cartridges quite often to avoid grey screen and blinking lights.

I wanted the original package for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and thats what I got! The new 72 pin connector does a great job at restoring the system to its finest condition! And dont forget the included Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt cart included, which means you get to enjoy the best of the system right away! My only suggestion is that you invest in a composite video and red mono audio RCA cable so you can enjoy better quality than the packaged RF adaptor. Either way, it is one of the best systems to collect!

The NES was a big part of my childhood, and reminds me of the times me, my dad, and my brother would sit around for hours (or as long as my mother let us) on the weekends playing game after game of Super Mario and Duckhunt. When I found Lukie Games and the great work they do with old gaming systems, I was thrilled! My system came in a timely fashion, and the continued support that Lukie Games offers is unparalleled. The NES, also known in Japan as the "Family Computer" or "Famicom", was a remodeled version of, once again, the "Famicom" which was released in America on October 18, 1985. This was the start of a video game era known as "Nintendo Fever", which ended the video game crash of 1983 after Atari put out Pacman, E.T. (AKA the worst video game ever made), and a few other titles. Knowing this, Nintendo did not adress the NES to America as a video game console, but as a "Family Entertainment System", giving it its name, the "Nintendo Entertainment System". Now you're playing with power!* I bought this console from Lukie Games a while back and it worked perfectly. when i recieved this the mario bros /duck hunt did not work but the other 2 games i got did work (mario bros 3 and zelda). i emailed lukie and they sent me another game for free would highly recomend this to every one as lukie games has great service

I got this package as a move-in present for my boyfriend (well for me too!) and we totally love it! It works amazing and I haven't had a problem with the system at all. When I got the package though one of the controllers was broken, I emailed Lukie and they sent a new controller for free! This was one of the best buys I have made in a long time, and have highly recommended it to family and friends!!

This system brings back so many memories from my childhood days. The only problem is I have an LCD HDTV. Duck Hunt and other NES games that require a light gun don't work on those type of tvs. The light gun is only compatible with SDTVs(standard definition tvs).

I purchased this refurbished NES game console from Lukie Games as a back-up in case my original console ever broke and am I glad I did! It works great and having 2 game systems also allows us to play games from 2 separate locations at the same time.
