The Addams Family SNES Super Nintendo Game Cartridge Cleaned Tested and Guaranteed to Work!

Uncle Fester has lost his memory and has fallen under the spell of Abigail Craven, a conniving character who is anxious to lay her greedy hands on the Addams' hidden fortune. Having recruited a misled Uncle Fester, and assisted by her cohorts Tully and The Judge, she manages to capture and imprison the other members of the Addams family within the huge Addams mansion! Only Gomez can save the day by freeing his son Pugsley, his daughter Wednesday, and Granny - and by restoring Uncle Fester's memory. Accomplishing these tasks is daunting enough, but then Gomez must seek out Morticia in the underground vaults of the Addams mansion and confront the evil Judge in a kooky and spooky climax!

Creepy, Kooky, and Relatively Spooky
Modern video games based upon movies are rarely fantastic at doing anything other than retelling the story of the film; this is something that's a relatively new development. Back in the 80s and 90s, the dearth of memory and graphics capacity prevented many game developers for adequately retelling the entire story of any film without significant (and ridiculously expensive) effort. The Addams Family video game is an awesome example of what to do when you're hamstrung by the limitations of the system - the designers took inspiration from the recently released blockbuster motion pictures, and simply recreated the massive Addams Family Mansion by based every room off of something mentioned or alluded to in the film and television show. This game is COMPLETELY worth playing!

Ridiculously fun, difficult game
When this game came out it had two strikes against it out of the gate: A. It's a movie-franchise game, and B. it's a platformer in a sea of other platformers. However, upon playing the game both of those concerns quickly vanish. The controls are (for the most part) responsive, the platforming elements are challenging but not too terribly frustrating, and the movie tie-in actually helps the game rather than hindering it. Other games in the Addams Family line (especially Fester's Quest) didn't have near the same quality. However, this is a game that should not be passed up!

A fun game for the SNES
A pretty solid game! A platforming game where you play as Gomez trying to rescue the rest of the family. Can get pretty difficult, but if you stock up on lives (through some secret areas) you can get through it no problem! A lot of fun to be found here, try it out!
