Find yourself back in the 1800s, where rumor has it that a vampire uprising is happening deep within the twisted heart of Wallachia, Transylvania. Take control of Reinhardt Schneider, a whip-toting Vampire Killer who has waited his whole life to meet his destiny, or Carrie Fernandez, a young girl with a strong magical presence who is mysteriously drawn to Dracula's evil Castlevania. I get why...

a lot of Castlevania fans bag on this game. It is not as intuitive as the old sidescrollers from the NES days, but then again...the 64 isn't a NES, so why would you want to play a simple sidescroller on such a system? Again, my error in not ordering a Memory Card with my initial order; but Ican see how this game is popular with some 64 fans.

Great Value

The game is in good shape, some scratching where it was used over the years, nothing major. Game works great and showed up faster than expected. I will definitely be buying more games from Lukie Games!

Castlevania 64

Lots of people hate on this game, the first of the series to go 3D. It's not perfect and the platforming is a little stiff (until you get used to. the controls and wonky physics). However, I dig this game, it's fun and I consider it a classic in it's own right. Go out and buy this game! LUKIE RULES!!!

Not the best Castlevania

Castlevania goes 3d in this n64 game. There is a reason they went back to aide scrolling. The game is ok, but a poor substitute for the 2d nes/snes/symphony of the night. That being said fans of the series will still enjoy this game.

Good Game, but terrible camera.

This Game was fun. Great graphics, awesome game play. But the only down side of this game is the camera. Watch the AVGN episode with details about this game in Castlevania part 3.

So Castlevania 64 was a underrated game that many spitted on. You love castlevania, you get this game. The music is epic, the gameplay is sometimes challenging (Nitro part) and the bosses are Damn good to kill! The controls are the point that many people bugs on but if you can pass this, you'll be rewarded good :)
