Crash Bandicoot takes a break from his usual platforming adventures for some fast-paced kart racing in Crash Nitro Kart for PlayStation 2. Crash Nitro Kart mixes 18 roller coaster raceways, devastating weapons, a variety of single and multiplayer modes and maps, and customizable arenas, and a cast of unique characters into a game that showcases kart-racing at its best. Crash must race his way to victory in order to save the Earth from destruction--but it won't be easy, as he must compete against foes both old and new before a final showdown with Velo himself.

The Evil Twinsha's invaded Crash's island paradise with plans of destruction. In a strange twist, Crash grudgingly pairs with his archenemy, Dr. Cortex in order to save the world. Through this unorthodox partnership, Cortex is abused as Crash's favorite weapon when Crash and Cortex are controlled as one. The game features completely immersive environments which respond realistically as the player interacts with them, along with streaming worlds that can be played through without load times; and four playable characters - Crash, Cortex, Nina Cortex (the niece of the evil doctor) and the brand new pairing of Crash and Cortex.
