Legends tell of a demon swordsman named Sparda, who awoke to justice and rebelled against the devil, waging a one-man support of the human world. Now, 2,000 years later, a dark figure named Dante--private investigator of the supernatural--finds clues that the devil is rallying to rise up again against mankind. Play as Dante, half-man, half-demon, who's armed with a sword and a wide array of other firearms. You will have full, ultra-responsive 3-D control of Dante as you combat with fist, sword, gun, and a stunning variety of martial arts moves that recall Hong Kong action films. You will have at your disposal many inventive moves: use your sword to pop your enemy into the air, for example, then juggle him with blasts from your gun. Transform to a demon state to inflict devastating attacks on enemies in this gothic battle of good against evil.

(I don't know what to put as the title soooo)

It arrived in perfect condition (the case, the disc, and the booklet) and it arrived ahead of schedule, but there was one tiny problem: The picture of the game is the black label version and I received a red label Greatest Hits version. Still, the condition was really good for the low price. I will definitely buy more Devil May Cry games from here but I think they should advertise black label and red label separately.

Great Condition, But Got Greatest Hits Version

The game came in great condition with the manual and everything. However, I got the Greatest Hits version of the game instead of the black label version. If you care about thing like this, then i'd recommend getting the game somewhere else.

Great game

This game is awesome. It's full of action non stop. You're the son of a demon gone good trying to live up to the legend of his father. You go through castle to dungeon and to a ghost ship and back again. It's a tough game but I don't mean hard however challenging. You should get this game for real. The graphics are great.

DMC still rocks

Played the game years back at my cousins house and only recently got it for myself. Just as fun as I remember and the bosses are still tough as nails. Enjoyed my time coming back to it. Also shipping was super quick.

A fun and difficult game

I love the dmc series so to find the first one for such a good price made me so happy. I wish the case was available but it is what it is! Came in excellent condition.

A must own ps2 game everyone should play

Kick-ass action gameplay, compelling plot, great voice acting, and very gothic atmosphere. Play the first one, and the third game (Avoid the second game), the franchise is stunning in my opinion.

Dark, Surprising, Enjoyable

Arrived on time and in great condition. Light scuff marks on the case, but no big deal. No scratches on the disk, and the manual wasn't damaged at all. Awesome quality for the low price. I've played the game for a few hours and I'm already looking forward to playing more. There's fighting (with both gun and sword which is awesome), puzzle solving, elaborate maps, and interesting characters. Overall, great game. I'd recommend it for anyone who likes action, adventure, mystery, and supernatural elements.
