Can't beat the classics!

I love this game so much, I bought a second copy so I can have one for each NES system. I know that's weird but, it really isn't.....

The game play is excellent. The cart came in perfect condition. Only minor gripe is the free shipping option is really slow, but that is a minor gripe.

Of course, Lukie Games got this game to me quick and in great condition. As for the game, it was awesome finally playing this one again after many years. This is absolutely a must-own for any RPG-lover, let alone an NES collector. I will say, however, that the random encounters do make the battle theme a bit grating after some hours of play (that is my only complaint)

Considering how old this game is and the command menu has way too many options, this game is great. You feel a sense of accomplishment when you level up, or farm to buy a weapon. and if you die you're back at the king with all xp and items just half of the money you had. Also it apparently only take about 13 hours to finish. For the price, it's totally worth it

This RPG will forever be remembered as one of the most challenging, entertaning and well-encapsulated game from the NES era. A destined-to-be one man army named Erdrick will have to slash his way through countless waves of Slimes before he can challenge the Dragon from the cover art (which is about the half-way point boss fight in this game). Still haven't completed DW1 on the original NES cartridge, but it is on my bucket list. And what about this classical music! If you enjoy those retro soundtracks, give a listen to the band Descendants of Erdrick: they perform meddleys of many classic RPGs!

The jrpg craze that lasted for the generations of consoles owe it ask to this game. My cart was in great condition and played well. The battery save still works too
