Enemy Territory Quake Wars

Generally solid game. Gunplay is overall good though some weapon equivalents are worse than others in the two sides, especially with the Strogg having some stupidly OP weapons. The factions feel relatively balanced, but I do find myself favoring the Strogg heavily given their somewhat better weapons as aesthetic. The maps are alright and look fine, however the bombing objectives are genuinely awful on some maps due to the defending team having a huge advantage compared to attackers. However some maps also have an opposite problem where it is impossible to defend the objective, the map with the Strogg data brain comes to mind. The AI is surprisingly good though it is stupid sometimes, but I do enjoy a game where the user can just set up a lobby and play alone with bots without even needing an Internet connection. That's quite neat. Most of the classes are fine but the classes who set up artillery are kinda of underwhelming to the point I forgot what they're called. Also vehicles are sometimes way too OP, or utterly useless. Also do be warned if you play covert ops/infiltrator that the backstab mechanic is incredibly annoying. And as for most shooter games, you are somewhat limited by using a controller. And using auto-aim is for the weak. Anyways, solid game would definitely ragequit again.

I got the game and it was in great condition. I remember playing this game and while it seems there are people who still play this online, you can play this offline and enjoy it just as much as you would if playing online.

Got this game as a birthday gift for my 5 year old grand son, I have the same game and he loved it, played it all the time. So I know he is going to love it.
