Faxanadu

Plays like Zelda 2. This very overlooked game has lots of areas to explore and items to find along with an interesting story. If you enjoyed Zelda 2 you'll like this one and it's easier but still challenging. There are a few negatives about it but I don't think it's enough to ruin a fun game. First off is the cumbersome password system. It's very easy to screw it up so my advice is when you get a new password take a picture of it in case you have trouble entering it later on. Another thing is you need several different types of keys to open doors throughout your adventure so always make sure to have a couple of each on hand to avoid annoying backtracking. Finally while the game is easy to learn it's slow to progress and most areas look alike with limited colors but have patience as the further you go it will become much more interesting.

Very fast service, and the cartridge arrived in excellent condition. Faxanadu is a great side scrolling action rpg, possibly one of the best on the NES!

Not only did the game arrive in great condition, the gameplay was amazing. This was my first time playing Faxanadu and it blew me away.

Faxanadu is a side scrolling action game with RPG elements similar to Zelda 2 but without the overworld map. The game is dark and atmospheric with good graphics and music, the story is pretty generic you return home from an unknown journey to find it is overrun by monsters and it's up to you to restore the peace. This game is very underrated and you can't go wrong for the price. The copy I received was in okay condition there's a small stain/discoloration at the top of the label and something sticky like soda pop had been spilled on the cartridge, I opened it up and cleaned it thoroughly and it worked fine :)
