Game Boy Advance Replacement Screen

My son bought a Gameboy at a thrift shop and wanted a new screen. This screen fit perfectly and gave him something to do. Thanks to Lukie he got a new back cover, new screen, and special screw driver all in one place to make it like new. He was very happy.

Good replacement screen that actually has the GBA logo at the bottom, but you'll probably want more than one since they tend to scratch easily. To replace, use a craft blade or similar tool to CAREFULLY pry up the old scratched screen. Maybe put a little piece of cardboard under the blade to protect the edge of the plastic casing from the edge of your tool. Then remove adhesive from the new screen and carefully place it, applying pressure for about 20 seconds to make sure the adhesive takes.

Make sure that you NEVER use any polishing compounds, or even DVD wipes. The screen will get fogged up and ruined. It seems like the finest polishing compounds at stores are still too coarse.

Bought as a backup screen that was given with a gift for a friend. Comes with a transparent protective layer on the surface to prevent damage during transit. I'm glad they're so easy to find and readily available.

Received three of these and they are easy to change, Just need to package better, if not for protective cover they would have been all scratched up.
