Gauntlet

I mean, its classic, right? It's a bit Zelda, a bit of its own thing and it makes for fun times, it also isn't all that easy so it gives you some bang for your buck and it is extremely replayable.

Arrived on time and works as it should

Game is every bit as good as I remember it! Levels get repetitive after awhile but its still classic Gauntlet. Great characters, great gameplay, great music!

I had this game years ago. Came a cross a used Nintendo so I had to get it again! Lukie games were great, easy to follow website, quick service and good product.

very fun old school game love the 2 player mode

This game is not the easiest game to play solo but of course you could play it that way. I suggest playing 2 player. It makes this one a lot more enjoyable. You are basically playing in a maze of monsters that will keep coming at you unless you take out their spawning point. You pick up keys to open doors and chests so use them strategically. You are looking for the exit to the next level and there are warp points to different levels. There are 8 "Clue Room". The must find the "?" tile before the timer runs out. If you find all 8 of them in the game you will open the 100th level. There are trap floors, stun tiles, teleporters and you can push walls also in some areas. Both the unlicensed and licensed versions are the same software. Nothing different in either game, unlike Tengen Tetris and Nintendo Tetris.

Lacks playability, but very good game for old school NES.

Gauntlet is an action game made by Tengen. The graphics are primitive, there's not much to say about the music, and the game lacks playability. It's not bad, especially when you have another player for it's co-op, but it feels very aged. A nice one for the collection, but not one I play very often.

This is the first review ive done on lukiegames on an item i did not buy on this site. I got this game at an antique store called "The Black Diamond" located in Frackville,PA. I got this game complete(with box, instructions ect. for $9.00. I got the unlicensed version as the picture shows. The game is great overall, the only downside is that there are no game genie codes for this game, but its still a good fighting game. I give this game 5 stars.
