Dripping with nostalgia
If you're a gamer of a certain age (like me, at 49), both Gauntlet and Rampart were the pinnacle of coin-operated arcade games. This cartridge allows me to re-live those halcyon days.
Gauntlet, in a GameBoy format, doesn't allow the four-player variety that the coin-op version had.
Rampart, in a Game Boy format, doesn't allow the player-vs-player format. Also, performance on the Game Boy is sluggish.
Younger folk should avoid this game; really, there's nothing to see.
Older fold, grab it. When Gauntlet says "Don't shoot the food!", I get shivers. It's that faithful to the original.
