Nearly perfect for a loose Genesis game!

It was good for the time I had with the game.

Golden Axe, much like Streets of Rage is a great side scrolling beat em up. The game came in great condition and plays with no flaws.

Golden Axe is up there with Sonic the Hedgehog when it comes to the Genesis libary of games. The gameplay is a casual beat 'em up, the enemies are deadly, graphics and sound are amazing and the over all game is fantasic. Get this game or face the wrath of GOLDEN AXE!!

I love golden axe, always have, always will. And i don't see a reason to not like it, the special moves are super cool, the characters look awesome, and you get to beat the crap out of midgets for health and mana. The enemys you fight even look cool, but not as cool as your character looks when he/she is mowing them down with their weapon. You can also ride on these awesome looking animals after you defeat the enemy that was on them in the first place. This game is excellent for any type of gamer young or old.
