Overall fun, but some level design issues.
This sequel to the original Kirby's dream land is without a doubt a great game. The added ability to steal your enemies' powers, along with the "mounts" whom kirby can ride to change those powers or grant him additional ones adds an awesome new element to the game. The game greatly resembles a slightly watered down version of Kirby's Adventure for NES. The difficulty level is MUCH higher than the original game, which I consider a plus. My only real complaint, as mentioned in the title is level design. 90% of the time this isn't an issue, with levels being fun and fresh. However, in particular there is one scrolling level which is like a maze, where a wrong turn leads to a dead end. Problem being that once you make a choice, you can't go back, so you die and have to restart the level, so you essentially have to memorize the correct path and discover it by trail and error.
Despite this though, Kirby's dreamland 2 is a great title and an awesome game to pick up for anyone who owns a gameboy.
