Terminators have taken over. Skynet has been unleashed. Mankind is getting vaporized by the second. You get to play as Robocop, half man, half machine, all cop. You face "game-over"-threatening bosses from Robocop and Terminator movies. The further you dive in, the more they swarm you. It'll take skill, grit, blood-sweat-&-toil to win the day. So go ahead, let Skynet know, along with all of its Terminators, you exist, and you're coming to wipe them off the face of the planet. The arsenal of weapons you can pick up are blistering to explosive, from flammable-flaming-flamethrowers, to skin melting lasers, to Explosive Rockets, and ground breaking plasma guns that "nope" the Terminators into the next dimension. Want ED-209's main cannon? Blast it off of him and show him the meaning of retribution. So many guns to choose from you get to hold on to whichever you want. Ammo an issue in other games? Not in this game, hold that trigger down until your screen gives out. Grab another Sega Genesis Controller, because by the time you beat this game, your controls are gonna be on life support. The best game I've played for Genesis, even made the power brick and console sweat. You won't regret it, so grab it while you can and annihilate the weekend while you pound Terminators out of this world. Heck, they even give you a trainer mission to test out the waters before you plunge into the awesomeness of Robocop Versus The Terminator. Warning, you may want some snacks and good drink while you "obliterate" everything in sight. Plays great on CRT's and Flat Panels, see you on the gamin' side.

I had quite a lot of fun playing this one . I did real well on this game , without using my Game Genie . The game is , because of the glitch codes , that it has , from the Tips & Tricks Magazines , that I have at home .

Simply one of the best crossovers of all time and one of the best movie-based games I have ever played since Super Star Wars, Robocop vs. The Terminator is just as awesome and as cheesy as it sounds. It is an extremely well-designed side-scrolling arcade shoot-em-up complete with ED-209, T-101s, Cobra Assault Cannons, and enemies that explode like Emil did in the movie after falling in the toxic waste and being hit by Boddickers car. Awesome!
