This is a nostalgic game from the 1980's that I will never truly get too much of. The options are limited, the music is tonal, the whole thing is clunky. But it all clunks together, the music fits the game, and the options are just enough to really enjoy conquering China...
You can't go wrong with a classic, and this game has strategy fun for days. Tip: if you play the 189 scenario, make sure Dong Zhuo's turn wasn't before yours (that's the guy in land 20). Reset if it was before yours. Then, on your first turn, save the game. Then offer general Lu Bu of land 20 a horse to join your side. If it fails, hit Reset and try again. Keep doing it until you get him.
Once it succeeds, you'll definitely see why it's important to start the game this way.
