THE BEST fighting game on the Super Nintendo
I'm a HUGE fighting game fan. Iv played everything from Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Guilty Gear, to Tekken, Bloody Roar, and Soul Caliber. I take pride in saying I know and love fighting games. So trust me when I say TMNT Tournament Fighters is THE BEST one on one fighting game on the Super Nintendo. I have never been a huge fan of TMNT but I did grow up in the 90s and I am familiar with them just not a huge fan. But this is not your child like, child friendly version of the turtles. This game is based off the TMNT comic book series (that most people didn't even know existed including myself) so the style and vibe of the game appeals to mature gamers as well as the younger ones. Everything looks a little more edgy and badass compared to the extremely popular cartoon from back in the day. I myself was kinda skeptical at first but when I popped this bastard in my snes.....I was very impressed. The music is top notch just like any snes game made by Konami. Everything sounds exactly how it should and it feels so satisfying when you smack, slam, and shred your opponent. No character sounds the same and the voice overs are extremely well done. Shredder sounds like Shredder, and the turtles sound like......well.....the turtles. The graphics and visuals are fantastic. Again, exactly what you would expect from Konami. But the most important part of this game is the gameplay and controls......and it is truly something to behold. If your a fan of Street Fighter you will feel right at home. The controls are tight and responsive and the hot detection is spot on. Every character has their own individual play style. Most critics call this game a Street Fighter clone but I disagree. But the only gripe I have is it does have some Minor character balance issues (War is totally worthless....even in the hands of a professional and the boss Karai is INSANELY OVERPOWERED.....she has KOF boss syndrome) but the one thing that this game did that set it apart from the rest is the Mutagen Meter. When this meter is filled each character can unleash a devastating super move that looks truly bad ass. To my knowledge This was the first game to utilize the super meter. Even Street Fighter copied this in it's later games and almost every 2D fighting to this day utilizes it. It was truly ground breaking. Most people brush this game off just because it's.........Ninja Turtles. But trust me it's an awesome fighter that just doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Best Turtles Game
TMNT Tournament Fighters for the snes puts not just the Genesis Version to shame but also the nes version too. I was amazed with how much better this version was compared to the others. Donatello Rocks in this game :P. Definitely Worth the purchase.

Everyone's Favorite Turtles Go Street Fighter
So this game is pretty funny; it's TMNT-- which at this point in time was restricted to go-left-beat-'em-ups-- in Street Fighter form. It's okay. Funny for a bit, but nothing I'd want to keep coming back to again and again. I just wanted to write a review so I could tell you that your third picture you display for this game is actually from Turtles in Time. Just fyi. Keep up the great work, guys!

Puts the Sega version to shame
This TTF runs circles around the version for Sega. Before a few months ago I didn't even know they were different, but they are. This one actually has characters like Shredder, The Rat King and it has a story mode and such. The Sega version had poor controls and weird characters like Ray Fillet and that bug guy. This one is the one to get for sure. It's really hard though, even on easy setting.
