Episode II of the Xenosaga series takes you 4,000 years into a war-torn future. Earth has been abandoned and what remains of humanity is locked in combat with malevolent aliens called the Gnosis. A Lethal Misfire

I'm not 100% sure, so I could be wrong, but I think this game tanked Xenosaga as a franchise. It did so bad sales-wise that what was supposed to be a 6-part series became 3. It was so out of left field, so bizarre, with so few people on board for it that the devs scrambled to just finish the story afterwards. I played it recently for the 1st time, and can say that the story itself is great (it has one of my favorite cutscenes in the series so far). But the combat is ROUGH! So many things wrong with it I can't go into detail here. Somehow it almost works--almost--but at the end of the day it's horribly flawed. I'm looking forward to part 3, as I hear that one fixes everything. I recommend this one only if you're like me and just that much invested in the overall story.

excited

Only played the 1st game when it came out originally, so I am excited to finally play the complete trilogy. Game came quickly and disk, manual and box all were in good condition.

Great Sequal!

The Xenosaga Trilogy is one of my personal favorite RPG series. This is a MUST play to complete the trilogy!

Honestly, I've tried to play this game several times but I got bored and distracted after a few hours. There is no sense of challenge to this cart. I love RPG games but this one wasn't the one...
