Haunting Ground for PlayStation 2 is a survival horror game from Capcom that follows Fiona Belli, a young woman who awakens in a mysterious castle after a car accident with little understanding of how she arrived there. With no traditional weapons to rely on, Fiona must explore the castle, solve puzzles, hide from relentless pursuers, and use her surroundings to escape danger. She is accompanied by Hewie, a white German Shepherd who can be trained to follow commands, locate items, solve puzzles, and defend Fiona when enemies attack. A panic system affects Fiona's ability to react when frightened, adding tension to each encounter. Known for its unsettling atmosphere, unique companion mechanics, and limited original release, Haunting Ground has become a notable title among PlayStation 2 survival horror fans. Compatible with PlayStation 2 systems, as well as select early-model PlayStation 3 systems with backward compatibility.
