Perfect to switch out those old dry batteries in the gameboy games

These batteries are definitely needed if you have any old GBA sitting around and notice the save file (or your time for pokemon games) are not working. You will need a special screw driver to dissemble the game cartridge, and basic soldering skills to install the battery. However, once in, your game will be good as new!

I bought this to replace the battery in my copy of Metroid II so I could save the game and actually play it on original hardware. Got it fixed in a couple minutes and was able to beat it (multiple times) in time for the release of Samus Returns and it's great. I'll totally buy more of these for when the battery in my Metal Gear Ghost Babel dies or something. As long as you know what you're doing with solder it's an easy replacement (Provided you get the right battery size, which will be labelled on your game's circuit board near the battery itself if you're unsure).

If your Pokemon battery dies it's a necessity. Batteries work perfectly.
