Action 52

I'm not writing this review to be smart or to be funny, I'm writing this in all seriousness. This is my favorite multi-game collection of games for the NES and I'm still not sure why it gets such bad credit. It's mindless, senseless fun that of course is less than perfect but it's also a title that anyone can pick up and enjoy without the need of excessive gaming skills or background knowledge. I find the best part about owning Action 52 is the fact that you never know what glitch will pop up next or what game you will end up in after you finish another one, and yes, that has happened to me where I beat the first level of Dam Busters and instead of going to level 2, I ended up in level 3 of Billy Bob! It's a disaster of rushed programming and horrible game sprites but at least it's no Hydlide. Definitely one not to be taken seriously!

When I bought this, I bought it from a local Comic Con for 200 FULLY KNOWING what I was getting into but owning one of the most infamous games for the NES made me feel great. If you want a collectible I recommend this, if you want anything else then I would run while you still can.

Action 52 is a collection of games released by a company no one really cares about. This is simply a collection of 52 of the worst games I have ever played. Not a single one holds any value whatsoever, and the game should NEVER be played. Because of it's rarity however, it has become very collectible.
