American Gladiators

This game, like others, may not have had the smoothest gameplay but was still and is enjoyable.

In my opinion this is one of the hardest NES games to beat. Getting to the Eliminator and beating the Eliminator is almost impossible. I was finally able to beat this game. Definitely an underrated gem on the NES. It's worth picking this game up and adding to your collection.

I used to rent this all the time....what a great nostalgic game...and the frustration of the gladiators catching you!

I was always a fan of the original American Gladiators television show, so I like this game. There are various games that fans will recognize and even favorite gladiators. The game is a bit difficult and requires a lot of practice, but is still fun. One of the most noteworthy aspects of the game is the music and sound effects. For a game under $10, I do not think anyone will be too terribly disappointed.

I was excited when the 2 player option came up, but it's not simultaneous, it's one player at a time. Would've been great for powerball to have 2 players at once. I seem to recall a super nintendo version of this one... maybe I'll pick this one up. Some events are easier than others... human cannonball is pretty tough, and may God have mercy on your soul if you touch a 'non net' piece when you're climbing the wall!

I like this game. I found it fun and challenging when I was younger and still think it is today. It has the classic events such as powerball, Joust, the wall etc. The wall can be fustrating at times and human cannonball can be difficult, it also has a password system so you can continue. American Gladiators is a good game for its time.
