Incompatible & no calibration
Loved the arcade version but hated this.
No gun calibration, and it is incompatible with guncom 1 - 3. You literally need a 3rd party Super Cobra, or Guncon with NorGun settings to play this. Generally light guns that can work on the Sega Saturn and ps1 are capable of functioning with this game. I could not get a Guncom 1 to get any response, since the game requires pressing start (which the guncom doesn't have) and removing controllers pauses which also requires a start button.
I tested this with 2 copies of Area 51 on both my Ps2 and Ps1. I have several light guns and only the Sega Saturn compatable modes would be recognized.
In addition, with no calibration whatsoever, this game is extremely hard to play. The offset angle doesn't change with reboots and changes based on the location of the screen being aimed at. No on screen sights make the menus nearly impossible to navigate. A few of the options I was never able to select.
I truly think 1 star over rates this game as it implies a 20%. This game is unplayable and earns a 0%, as if the developers never even tested it once.
