Baseball Stars 2

I never even knew the made a sequel to the original Baseball Stars till I saw it here on Lukie Games. So I decided to pick it up for my NES collection. They took out some of the options that were cool on the original such as some editing so it won't be as good as the original but still worth owning. The cart looked brand new but I did have to take it to my local retro game store and get them to open the cart and clean it on the inside to get it to work on my NES. So a heads up to anyone who purchases NES games if they don't read they might just need a better clean job. Thankfully my local retro store has an awesome staff and know me well and didn't charge me for the cleaning. Any issues Lukie Games are great at getting back to you and fixing the issue. If you aren't happy then they are not happy. Great online place for new gamers and retro gamers!

I like the game a lot. it's a good change of pace from the original version. the game works great. I've bought several games now from lukie. I have been satisfied

Truth be told, you probably won't like this game as much as the original Baseball Stars for the NES, mostly due to the fact that some of the league options have been removed, fly balls are still hard to track down, and the game seems to get more tiresome quicker than the original. Still, allowing you to trade players with other teams, a better use of the screen with windows so you can see the other bases while pitching, and a lighthearted soundtrack all make for an enjoyable time.
