Decent beat-em up. Lukie rocks as always.

Let me start by saying that I love beat'm ups. They have a therapeutic nature to them. Sometimes it just feels good to hit shit. But sometimes things can take a turn for the worst.......as it does with this game. The problem? It's too damn difficult. That being said the graphics, sound, and controls are satisfactory but I can't shake the fact that everything looks and feels "tiny". It's just as hard as the other Battletoads games but this time there is a level select code to help you out!!!......or so it seems. I remember being forced to use the code because I just couldn't make it passed the space shuttle stage. When I beat the game I was informed by the professor bird dude that I couldn't see the ending using the level select code!!!!! I fucking kid you not!!!! That is some sadistic shit right there! The developers must have lost their damn minds!!!!! Sorry to say iv never seen the ending. I don't recommend this game or any of the battletoads games. The developers fail again.

Game shipped and arrived within a week. Was in great working condition. I have been waiting a long time to try this game, as I was a huge fan of the Battletoads and Double Dragon games respectively. Some things to know about this game before buying, every battle toad is just a reskin of a single template. Their move set isn't as good as the Double Dragon Brothers, unlike Battle Toads: Battlemaniacs for SNES where each character plays differently (different speed, different size, different moveset). The graphics aren't as polished as Battlemanicas either. The game clearly looks like it was coded for another lesser machine and hastily ported to the SNES. The gameplay itself is standard beat em up with a great nostalgic mix of Battletoads and Double Dragon badguys. To summarize, Lukie Games delivered the game I wanted in working order and in good time, but there are definitely better beat em ups for this system.

My son had been wanting this game for some time now. Knew I could count on Lukiegames to have it and its wotks great. Enjoying it to the fullest. Thanks!
