Another great Disney game
If your looking for some entertaining side-scrolling, look no further. Although this game was developed by Hudson, it can easily compete with the Disney Virgin and Capcom titles. I must mention the game has a very dark atmosphere, making it difficult to see at times. The platforming is a nuisance because the beast can't perform accurate jumps, and the hit detection is bad (awkward "Beast" punches), though far better than that of the Genesis title Roar of the Beast (if you've tried it out). The game can easily be beaten with practice and is extremely generous with continues and health until later levels. It's about the same length as Lion King or Aladdin, about an hour if you know what your doing. Overall, it's a very enjoyable game.
