Favorite Shmup
Sega made some really good first party games, this was one. It's also on Sega Classics for the PS4. I bought an actual copy so I can play in bed in our room. The gameplay is addictive, there's a lot of strategy in picking the right character because they all have different powerups, then picking the right power up. If say, you pick a red orb, it gets stronger with each red orb you pick up, same as all the others. The sound quality is insanely good for 1992 and still holds up today. Music and sound effects just enhance the experience.

Great game
Awesome shmup for the Sega Genesis. Never played it growing up, but I really like it now as an adult. I really recommend trying it out.

THE Genesis Shooter To Get
As others have stated, you do indeed to get shoot giant squids in the first level. A unique little title for Genesis.

The Best !
My all time favorite what can i say the different kinds of weapons for each bug you controlle and sizes you can upgrade to. I like the challenges you come across in each level dogging all those enemy bugs,it's always a surprise the more you progress into the game.

Worthwhile shooter
Definitely a good game! If you look shoot 'em ups and haven't played this one, consider it. It's a bit organic, featuring a selection of 4 ships in the shape of sea creatures/insects. The enemies are similarly organic creations. In what other game can you shoot flying giant squid out of the sky at the beginning of the game? 2-player simultaneous play makes this a fun one with a friend. Highly recommended if you like shooting games.
