Inspired be the arcade classic from the 1980's the plot centers around a good-verses-evil yarn; where two neighboring countries are in the midst of war. A pair of defective nuclear missiles, en route to a safe detonation site, has begun to leak. Badly damaged, the carrier automatically locks onto the most direct route. Clear a path to help the carrier arrive safely. Tons of vehicles are at your disposal. Leave nothing standing or the adventure will end in an earth-shattering explosion! Players control one of two Bionic Commandos; who serve the good country Karinia. Your goal is to overthrow the tyrannical Avar Empire which is planning a large-scale assault on the Commandos' home turf. Find the hidden technicians to ensure a safe detonation. Strap on your seat belt, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

For the one star reviewer
How old are you??? Many of the games for this platform were for a younger audience. The N64 came out when video gaming was still for a younger generation. I'm sorry you feel so bad about this game. when I was young and the game first came out I well my mom rented it and I played it all day. I am buying it for my kids now because of the fond memories I have of playing it and how awesome I thought it was to be any type of vehicle to demolish buildings. Unlike now days gaming then was for kids now days its aimed towards older teens and adults you know the people that can fork out the 100's of dollars for the system and games. I recommend this game and many others for kids of all ages its tons of fun.

Blast Corps
One of the more unique titles for the N64. If you like the thought of smashing buildings using a variety of different vehicles, then this game is for you.

Great game
I'm leaving this review to combat the one-star left earlier. One of the better, more unique games of the N64, Blast Corps has that rare distinction of being unlike anything yet seen on a game system to this point. This is Rare in their golden age, before their studio got watered down and sold off to the highest bidder. The game centers on a runaway missile carrier that, if it even bumps into anything, it'll explode and irradiate the planet, etc, etc. So you have to clear a path from one end of the stage to the other, knocking buildings down and smashing crates, using dozens of different vehicles ranging from normal construction vehicles (bulldozers and dump-trucks) to the ludicrous (rocket-powered motorbikes and robots). Plus you also get to unlock some other vehicles such as the A-Team van (spoilers). The stages take place on every conceivable type of terrain: cities, farms, deserts, construction areas, shipyards and even the moon! Graphics are very good for their time. Not the absolute best the N64 was capable of, but they worked for me. This is an underrated game that's available for a good price. No N64 collection is complete without it.

Worst video game since porky's on the Atari 2600. This was my first N64 game. Wow what a disapointment it was. Impossible to understand. I give it 3 thumbs down.
