An adventure game more complex than Zelda.
This is definitively the most complex and
probably the hardest adventure game on the SNES.
More complicated than the Legend of Zelda,
with just as much levelling strategy as in Secret of Mana
and the system of familiars that acompny you predated
the Castlevania Symphony of the Night falimiars.
This game has puzzles some might link to
the Adventures of Lolo in their structure
and can be just as tough as the fights themselves.
One of the Top 20 obscure SNES gems,
Enix did a great job with Brain Lord,
but being released in a time when Zelda/Secret of Mana /Illusion of Gaia
took the forefront of the Adventure genre of the 90s it went Under the radar.
Try this if you are a diehard fan of Zelda and would like more challenges.
With Lagoon and Soulblazer, Brain Lord is among the most underrated games of the genre.
