A Bold Gamble
When Brothers In Arms:Road To Hill 30 came out the WWII genre was already considered to be well tread territory. Hill 30 shook up the formula. On a surface level you would think combining FPS gameplay and and squad tactics would either just be to cumbersome on a console or a complete ripoff of the Rainbow Six games. But somehow they pulled it off while also giving an incredible cinematic presentation worthy of attention. While many WWII games saw nameless grunts shooting and dying seemingly at random, Hill 30 had a squad you were in control of and became invested in. The intuitve controls and atmosphere have stood the test of time and is still a must play to this day.
On a seperate note every game i've recieved from Lukie Games has worked perfectly. I don't know how they're restoring the discs, but every game disc i've recieved looks practically new. I would highly recommend this store.
