Darkest of Days

Very original concept. Play it and get into it you will surly enjoy the game.

Darkest of Days is a "First Person Shooter" style game that covers a wide variety of significant historical events and conflicts throughout world history, American-Indian & Civil Wars, The World Wars. You are able to play missions in these time periods as a time travelling soldier that is occasionally equipped with the weapons of the time period, but can also be given modern technology to have an advantage over your enemy. The story is very interesting but the graphics are dated even for Xbox 360's standards. The voice acting is nothing special and the music is unfavourable. This doesn't take away from the unique concept and in game mechanics of having to "save" certain enemies (that are not supposed to die in the flow of history) by either shooting them or knocking them unconscious. This adds challenge to the game as the rewards for doing so are bonus upgrades for your weapons. Overall I would still give this game 5 stars for the time periods it attempts to portray that includes advantageous benefits over your poor foot soldiers in arms.
