Cool but somewhat plain
Dead or Alive 2 has perfect graphics (the girls are bodacious and the men are muscular) and cool fighting combo techniques. The game however seems quite shorter and less interesting than the demo from smashpack...maybe since the demo is for promotional purposes..sold me..., the story mode of the game doesn't really show what happens like the games now days the characters just summarize their path quest for fighting, the manual is what tells you about the character and their details (the demo displayed the characters complete outfit but this game doesn't) but other than that I am overall happy with my purchase. I will purchase the first Dead or Alive and maybe that will give me some closure on my questions. My favorite part of this game is that the training mode lets you practice the special moves on a computer opponent and lets you choose to fight against the computer without losing life of course. One thing I have always loved about the Dreamcast is the complexity of the button configurations; for example Street Fighter Alpha 3; if you know what I'm talking about then you'll find this game as easy as a dolphin swimming in a plastic free ocean. Buy it and try it, you won't be disappointed.
