This game is by far the biggest discovery I ever did. I had never heard or played the DS dragon quest games before playing this one and WOW, I was blown away. If you're an RPG lover and have never played a dragonquest game, do yourself a favor and pick this up. The graphics are excellent, the music is amazing and the gameplay will leave you wanting more. The characters are really easy to fall in love with and after beating this, I am positive you will be looking for other dragonquest games.
