ESPN Football 2005
My grandson loves it. He likes the old XBOX games. He plays it as much as he plays his XBOX 1 games. Don't know what I'm going to do when the old XBOX dies.

a symbolic game
This game was actually an important game in terms of sim football games. This is the last NFL 2k to be released. This game was hands down better than madden 2005 and it was only going to get worse for the madden franchise. EA sports went on to get the exclusive rights from the nfl to make simulation video games each year. For video game lovers, this was not good news at all. Not only did we lose the better product- but the consolation prize actually has gotten worse. Because EA has no competition- there is literally NOTHING pushing them to improve their product from one year to the next. The last decade of Madden games have basically been nothing more than roster updates. If NBA sk was an indication on how good 2k sports games were going to become, I really do believe that madden would not be producing games anymore had EA not secured that license. You can bet that the first chance 2k gets to make a football game- it will blow madden out of the water.
