Final Fantasy XIII

I do love this game and it's themes. I can understand why people don't like the linearity. Very understandable. But once you completely open up the battle system it becomes realy fun. I can clearly see that this was where the battle system of FF7R got its start, and I really enjoy the strategy of it. It takes forever to get to that part. Every positive does come with a caveat, but the positives are so good in my opinion that it doesnt fully negate the enjoyment of the game. Forexaple I love the story; however, i drops you in the deep end from the get go. To fully understand whats happening you have to look at that journal like option. Despite that the themes are really engaging.

For anyone who has played and enjoyed a Final Fantasy game, I'm sure you'll find some enjoyment with this. From the beautiful graphics, to the adventurous storyline, to characters who you instantly like, or ones who grow on you, there's much fun to be had. The battle system is some what like the classic final fantasy turn based system, but with a twist, where you set your commands each turn, and watch them happen, with out breaking from the action. It takes a little getting used to, but i found it easy to pick up after playing for a few minutes. If you like final fantasy, I'm sure you'll like this, and for this price, it's a steal

Really big disappointment, my copy wasn't resurfaced before being delivered so it was totally un-playable. Waiting on customer service to get back to me

Dig the gameplay. Fighting style has that old ff feel that XII kind of lacked(tho both the game and story were playworthy). Haven't made it far enough yet to critique the story, but so far has kept my interest.
