worked perfectly!

Was able to snag a Sega Genesis 3 at a swap meet recently, but since it was loose I needed a replacement AC adapter. This one works great for not only the Genesis 3, but also for the Genesis 2.

Did not work

Ordered for my sega genesis 2 model mk 1631. After setting everything up my sega did not turn on. I have tried other outlets. Double and triple checked it was plugged all the way into the system. Took sega to a market that sells games and was able to turn the sega on using an orignal sega power cord but it was not for sale.
