New Genesis Controller

The controller works as it should. The d pad fell off on me during gameplay. Some of the time, I had to pop it back in to continue my session.

Sega Genesis was the first game system that I ever bought. Problem is, it only came with one controller. Then a couple of years ago I purchased a vintage re-boot system with over 80 built on board games for my kids. It can also play all of the original cartridges. That came with two controllers (both are remote controllers)for which the batteries run out very quickly. So having a second wired controller retrofits both the original Sega, and the vintage reboot. Kids love it, they can play all their games head to head where available now.

These little controllers do the trick. They do feel cheap to the touch but will hold up for a few hours if a friend drops by. Always have a second controller handy just in case. Just let your friend use the good controller. I always prefer the original three button controller but I have this 6 button one to play an occasional fighting game.

My bro and I beat Streets of Rage on the Sega classic with these controllers, because the wireless were ones not reading right.

You get what you pay for with this controller. Not top quality. Directional pad fell off after minimal use. Spend the extra 5$ and get the official controller

Not the worst controller, but definitely don't expect quality. It's smaller than the name brand 6-button sega genesis controller. It feels cheap, even smells like cheap plastic. The D-Pad actually fell off as I was playing a game so I don't recommend spending money on this. Thank god I just bought it with points.

I bought two a few weeks back and im pretty happy with them, one as soon as i opened it the d-pad fell out of the box, but it was a simple "push back into place" issue..

First and foremost: this controller does not have a 'Mode' button even though it says so on the box. With that out of the way the one I bought had I a highly inaccurate D-pad which was improving in accuracy until it snapped off of the controller after about 15 hours of gameplay. Don't bother with this controller even if it's free.

I find the controller to be rather small due to my large hands and responsiveness tends to vary at times (Sonic CD is hard to roll into a ball on slopes, Mrs. PacMan can't turn for what). The controller is practical for gaming use. But its poor size and inconsistent accuracy holds back the controller's usefulness. Just get a different Genesis controller.

Works like be. No complaints. Really enjoying my gaming experience.

Works fine. No problems. Only use once in a while to play with my kid. Got it to replace the wireless ones that come with the new units.

I thought this controller was great for the price. The button sticks occasionally but overall it seems to work well with all my games.
