Gremlins 2

First things first, LukieGames is an incredibly reliable online market. I used to be one of those guys who was Amazon and Only Amazon, but for retro game especially this place is just as awesome! Now onto the Game, I mean just wow what a hidden gem. The entire time I played I kept getting shocked at how good the music was, which makes sense the same people who made this made Batman on NES and that music was also awesome. Rocking music, simple yet fun gameplay with upgrading along the way, and a cute little gremlin to play as, what more could you want? Dare I say its a flawless game.

Film license adaptions are generally extremely poor on the NES, but thanks to one of the platform's most innovative and on-point devs Sunsoft this one is a hundred notches above the rest. Really fun top-down action gameplay featuring platforming, shooting, picking up stuff from shops etc. with terrific and typical Sunsoft tunes driving everything wonderfully. Eerily faithful to the movie's plot as well.

I got this game to play with my 4yr old daughter, It's pretty easy to play and the music is good. The only reason I am giving this game only 4 stars is that the label had a little damage. Played fine though.

Tons of fun. Like other people said, it's one of the few really good movie games out there.

While their are very few "good" movie-licensed games on the NES, this is easily one of them. You play as Gizmo the Mogwhai and your objective is to go around the Clamp building and stop all the marauding Gremlins. You can upgrade you weapon from a Tomato to a flaming pencil, like in the movie. Graphics are great, control is responsive and the music is top-notch. The game does get quite difficult though, especially near the end. But with some patience this game can be easily conquered. If the action is too much for you, then every time you die, you are given a password to restart on the level that you died. Highly recommend to platformer fans and fans of the movie. A true NES Gem!!!

So my wife and I bought this game because she use to play it as a kid - it is great! We love it! In regards to the Lukiegames: easy checkout, fast shipping, easy to get a hold of great. Couldn't ask for more!

I remember renting this at my local video store when I was a kid and thinking it was incredibly hard! All these years later, you know what? It still is! That being said, it's a great little game that actually FEELS like the movie it is based on! You play as Gizmo as he runs around the Clamp building, trying to stop his evil brothers from taking over! You've got nothing but tomatoes to fling at first, but you eventually purchase upgrades and what not. Think of this as a dungeon crawler with lots of platforming action! Oh and the music totally feels like it belongs in the movies. Great stuff!
