The Guardian Legend

I grew up with the NES and somehow NEVER heard of this game until now. In my opinion it's not just one of the best games for the NES but one of the best games ever made. A lot has been said about this game so I'll give one tiny example of how forward thinking this game was: Despite being made in 1988, this game gets rid of the outdated and pointless "extra lives" system and replaces it with the much more modern gameplay mechanic of letting the player continue as many times as they want from the most recent checkpoint, which is never too far behind. And that does NOT mean the game is easy. It's a good challenge, but with all of the weapons and power-ups I was able to beat it on my computer. And now I'm looking forward to playing through it again on original hardware. Fast shipping, item is clean and exactly as described. Thank you!

Took 4 weeks to come . But worth the wait.Good condition works good no complaints

I've been playing a lot of old NES games that I never played before, and this is one of those few that stands out. Guardian Legend is a fantastic game worth playing.

This game is so good! The opening stage is a shoot em up, like Galaga almost (but better) and then turns into a 3/4 view zelda like exploration, with some of the best music on the NES.

Bought this for my partner and he loves being able to play it again it brought back alot of great memories for him and the graphics still amaze me for an old game such as this one.

This is an obscure title worth trying. It has a very unique play to it. Starts out as a shooter in a ship, then becomes an adventure as the pilot on some kind of a planet. Very interesting machanics and game style for an NES game.

Do you like great NES games that are a space shooter/side scroller/RPG/action platformer?If you answered yes to any or all of these than this is your game.It is a great balance of all,and that is why this game rules!!

It's like a mash up of all your favourite game types! Lots to do. Lots to explore.

It is Zelda meets Metroid, but with a functioning map system and half of it is a shmup. It is incredible. Have no idea why this is not more widely known.

Game was in excellent condition. Similar to Zelda but also adds a space shoot-em up experience as well. Just an all around excellent game to play. One of the more underrated games for NES

Hearing this game was great from a youtube video. I ended up buying this game for my girlfriend and I to play. And from the beginning I didn't know what I was getting into, and little did I know it blew us away! We are both addicted to this game, have played every night for two weeks and its all we think about. First you start out in a fighter plane, and after the boss, the plane turns into a woman and you walk around as in a zelda game. The map gives you an idea where to go. And you explore and collect powerups. You go back and forth from the plane to the woman fighting mini bosses and main bosses! Definantly worth the price. Id even pay 50 bucks for this hidden gem

Also this is not really a space shooter, that is just the opening. Really though this game is worth playing.
