Definitely worth the money.
My first time playing this was at my friends house. I've never heard of the Harvest Moon series before, and he had this game in his GBA. I thought it would be pretty stupid.. Wow was I wrong! I started playing, and found myself playing for six hours straight. My friend had to tell me to go home because I was playing so long and draining his batteries. Haha.
For those of you that don't know what Harvest Moon is, it's pretty simple. You farm to make money, which in turn, allows you to buy house upgrades, animals, and a bunch of other things. You can also milk your cows, and get wool from your sheep. You can also cut down trees, mine with your hammer, and use your several tools for other things. By mining and paying a small fee, you can get your tools upgraded to do more! Probably one of my favorite things about this game is that you can get married! There are 5 eligible bachelorettes, all which you can win their love by showering them with gifts, and talking to them every day.
This is one of my all-time favorite games. I own a lot of the games in the series, and they're all just as fun as the previous. This is definitely worth the money, so you should get it!
P.S. Have no fear ladies! If you're a girl and you want to try Harvest Moon on GBA, check out Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town. It's the same game.. Except for girls! :)
