Jade Empire

As always the game arrived in perfect condition with no scratches on the disc and in a presentable case. Jade Empire is one of the backwards compatible titles than the Xbox One console can run, so I"m able to play the game without having to reconfigure my gaming space to accommodate the OG Xbox. FYI - when playing an original Xbox game via backwards compatibility on the XB1 the White/Black Buttons are the L1/R1 triggers. The Controller Layout from the in-game menu doesn't tell you this.

Jade Empire is Bioware's first game and fans of Dragon Age, Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect will likely enjoy this game's choice driven narrative system and fun combat mechanics. This game can be difficult at times and the gameplay hasn't aged the best but Jade Empire has an intriguing story and offers a lot of fun for old and new players alike. I would consider this to be one of the most fun Xbox exclusive RPGs and a definite gem.

This game is really entertaining, with a great story line along with many side quests. but, despite the many quests, this game is still pretty short and took me about 20 hrs. to complete. One benefit to this though, is that it is so short you are able to play multiple times as evil or good, tiger style, or heavenly wave. There are tons of styles to choose from ranging from magic styles to wepons to martial attacks all with easy to manuver controls. Overall a fun game that, at the least, will keep you entertained for a few days.
