Good ol fashioned Swords and Sorcery
A decent game. But it suffers from the same arcade-to-console problems that plagued most capcom titles of the like. The controls are tight and responsive, the gameplay is the same side scrolling action that you would expect from a quality capcom title. The only flaw is you only get 3 continues for a fairly long game. No save or password function. The game must be completed in one sitting. Although there is a level select function, the game becomes extremely difficult in the latter stages and the final boss is outrageously hard. The game is only one player unlike the arcade version which in my opinion was a bad decision on capcom's behalf. Overall it's a good game but I recommend it only for the old school gamers.
