In his evil plot to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, the villain Fawful tricks Bowser into eating a magic mushroom, causing him to inhale everything around him, including Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach! Players are now in control of two separate story lines. One features Bowser and his efforts to stop an arch-villain from taking over his castle, and the other features Mario & Luigi fighting their way through challenges to find their way out. Players must solve a number of puzzles and challenges behind the scenes to help Bowser overcome various obstacles and advance the plot. It's all up to you to help the Mario Bros save Princess Peach and escape Bowser!

Just like I remember it

It's great -- no complaints on my end. It didn't load up the first time I tried it and I got a little frightened it wouldn't work, but that was probably more the fault of my 15+ year old DS lite. Did the old blow into the slot trick and it works perfectly. I always wanted this game when I was younger and I'm finally getting the chance (and time) to enjoy it. 5 stars.

Best! Game! Ever!

I absolutely love this game and I haven't been able to play it for a couple years because I no longer had a ds until recently. The cartridge was also lost so I have been looking for a cheap and full set and here it is.

Probably good, but needs a user who can read

Seems like a good game, but definitely requires user to know how to READ. As a result, it isn't that much fun for my 4-year old.

Best of the Mario RPGs

This game is the best Mario RPG I have ever played. It's great for Mario fans, RPG fans, even people who aren't good at RPGs. The story and characters are hilarious and the gameplay is fun and easy to learn. This game is recommended to anyone who has a DS!
