My order was delivered as promised, but,the game wouldn't start up. I contacted Lukie games and they sent me a working game within days. Great service for a 1st time buyer.

An old favorite.
My boyfriend and I have recently bought a gamecube, and he had never played any of the Mario sports games for it. This had always been a favorite of mine while I was in college so I was super excited to receive it. We both have a blast playing it. Game that was sent was in great condition. Highly recommend it!

A Surprisingly Fun Game
I wasn't expecting this game to be so addicting and fun. I just bought it because it was a cheap Mario game, but have discovered that it is one of the best Mario games of all time! A little tricky at first, but once you get a hang of it it is hilarious. Always make sure to pair Diddy and Donkey Kong on doubles though!

Tennis, in the mario universe.
right off the bat i should mention i got this game as a rental only once but i remember purely enjoying it. so far, it hasn't really been a let down but i'm JUST starting to understand the controls and they seem to be quite messy (natural for the gamecube, it had less buttons than the ps2 conroller). i'm also trying to understand the rules (like why it seems i'm up against one guy longer than the others in the tourney mode). the real kicker is if you've been playing wii sports... you'll probably fail, miserably. on the other hand you don't NEED to get in-depth with the controls, you can have loads of fun hitting A back and forth whilst aiming the ball to an impossible spot to get to........... just if you want a gamecube game where the control stick and A button are the only things used, look into Kirby Air Ride. 4/5 stars as the game gets difficult and asks you to teach yourself (especially if you don't play tennis... or sports... what's a lob? ...idk but i intend on finding out.)

The Best Party Game on the GC!
Mario Power Tennis is, hands down, the best party game on the Gamecube. Some might think the Mario Party series, having "party" in the title, should take the title but they are wrong (way way wrong). This game is great for so many reasons. First off, it is very accessible. Anyone can pick up and play regardless of their knowledge of video games or tennis. The different controller setups allow newer players to compete against more seasoned opponents. The easy setup will automatically launch special attacks depending on the context while the advanced one will require the player to choose between a defensive or offensive special ability. The game also adds various flavours by throwing in different courts (including gimmicky ones) that change the dynamic of the game. Grass courts, clay courts, moving platform water courts, and ghost courts! They're all there! People ask me to bring my Gamecube when we have game night because they plan on playing Mario Power Tennis, despite them all owning newer consoles. Although we set out to play various games we always end up playing this particular one through the evening. I strongly recommend.

Mario Power Tennis
A great Mario sports game to have for a collection. Just like the n64 version with special power ups. Has more characters and more mini games, great to play with friends.
