It is a great game, but not as good as the original Dreamcast Version!
It's an emulated version of the original, even has the ADX symbol in the opening screens. Anyone--that has played the emulated version of the DC version--knows one thing: ADX's logo is in the credits. It's been a really, really long time since I owned the DC version, but I don't remember ADX being on its opening screens. Both the PS2 official version & DC emulated game are tied to ADX?! Coincidence?!
Still, the graphics R not dat lacking & D gameplay is bout the same. So, despite D flaws, its like you have an original broadcast and you recorded it in LP-SP on a VCR.Those would be gr8 likenesses of an original, so its nothing2complain bout at all. Ucan see dat its a copy, but, like a very good VCR copy of a movie, it is really meaningless.
Now, den, dere R many standard & unlockable characters from Marvel&Capcom on dis game. Some examples include -> Captain America, Ryu, Spider-Man, Ken, Hulk, Chun-Li, Cable, BB Hood, Venom, Zangrief, Colossus, Dhalism, Sentinel, Guile, Storm, Cammy, Rogue, Megaman, Magneto, M. Bison, Dr Doom, T. Bonne, Marrow, Servbot, Wolverines, Strider, Iceman, Jin, Iron Man, Charlie, War Machine, Dan, Psylocke, Ruby Heart, Sabretooth, Jill, Juggernaut, Morrigan, Thanos, Sakura, Shuma-Gorath, Cyclops, Akuma, Omega Red, & more.
Its a 3-on-3 tag team battle. From there, its bout knowing D moves of ur leader & knowing how2employ dose moves, using ur 1 button assist(which allows either character2come N2 assist U based on which button U use & wat assist U chose for each character*), & knowing how2do ur easy special combos or ur character specific button sequence special combos(as in F+B or B+F 2 action buttons).
It's possible to, if UR great at doing moves, land your moves at very good speed, assist, special combo, & block to overwhelm your enemies. IT IS A VERY, VERY FUN GAME.
*WenU choose ur leader & teammates, Uhave2 choose an assist type. Dere is a recommended assist dat will work well 4ur character. Still, some characters can use otha assist types well, too, or better danD recommended. Storm is a gr8 Xample of dis: dey recommend projectile. However, her best assist type is D last type. She makes her typhoon go very, very high ND air where D enemy is. Most enemies cant handle dat at all & all struggle /w it. Anotha thing2consider /w assist types, /w some characters--not choosing D recommended assist type--affects deir team special power combo(L2+R2). Dats D decision that you will have2weigh wen choosing ur assist type.
