A Fantastic First WWII Shooter
Back in the early to mid 2000s WWII first person shooters were very common, before Call of Duty became the overrated juggernaut that it is today that series started out as a WWII game. This game right here is where that trend started, being an homage to a generation of soldiers whom honestly I feel get overly romanticized, but I digress. What I like about this title is that despite a lack of fully customizable controls the options are very plenty and offer up enough variation for any play style, including a few that mimic console FPS controls of today, which is surprising for a game that came out in the late 90s. This game is also before regenerating health became the norm, health packs are the only way to regain health, so there's none of that nonsense. Overall, it is a worthwhile game to pick up if you're looking for an FPS for Playstation, looking to check out the origin of this forgotten franchise, or if you're just looking for your next good FPS and have the console to play it on.
