Mega Man 2
Hello. This is the second game in the Mega Man series. This game was better then the 1st one, in my opinion. In this game you can use a password to continue from the level you previously finished. Also, you can play on either difficulty, normal or difficult. I read that the difficult option in this game is the default difficulty in the japanese version, so if you want to play the game the way it was meant to be then play on difficult. The only difference is that on difficult you take more damage from some enemies and also some enemies and all the bosses need to take more shots before they are defeated. This game is just like the previous one, you are very limited to what you can do. You can still only move, jump, and shoot. If this is the first time you are playing a Mega Man game then basically, what you do in the game is choose one of the 8 robot master stages, go through the level, fight the boss and get one of the bosses weapons. That weapon can be used to usually defeat another boss easily. Then you write down the password and enter it later to continue. If you figure out the order that works for you then you can easily get through the boss fights. You must go through at least one boss fight with the M Buster. In this game after defeating certain robot masters you get items from Dr. Light that help you get through the levels. There are 3 items and you only need to use them in the Dr. Wily stages, you don't have to use them in the robot master stages. In this game there are 8 robot masters instead of 6 as in the previous game. Also, the robot masters in this were actually created by Dr. Wily, the ones in the 1st game were created by Dr. Light. That's not a big deal but I thought some people might want to know that. When you defeat the 8 robot masters then you go to the Dr. Wily stages just like the 1st game. This game also isn't as difficult as the later ones even on difficult mode. If you are looking for a more difficult Mega Man game I would reccomend Mega Man 3 or 5.
