Description

In the year of 200X, a super robot named Mega Man was created. Dr. Light created Megaman to stop the evil desires of Dr. Wily. However, after his defeat, Dr. Wily created eight of his own robots to counter Mega Man. But as MegaMan, you've also grown in power and ability. Can you save mankind from the evil desires of Dr. Wily? Each of the eight empires is ruled by a different super-robot. You must defeat each enemy on his own turf, building up weapons as you go. Not the best in the series but still good
MM 3, 4 & 5 are better than 2. Unfortunately the game is way too frickin easy even with selecting the harder difficulty. Most of the weapons are lame except for the metal blades. The soundtrack is the best thing about this game.

Another classic
Love this game, although I've still not quite figured out the best order to go in in terms of facing the various robots and so get my butt kicked by a couple of them. As others have said, it has a fantastic soundtrack.

This is Megaman at it's very best. Once you get the weapon pattern down, it is extremely enjoyable and not that hard to finish. This was the game of my childhood. So happy to have it!

The Sequel To End All Sequels!
Today, Mega Man (or Rock Man if you wanna get technical and talk Japanese) is one of the most prolific and well known video game characters the world has ever known. With a library spanning more than 45 games and a few television shows over it’s nearly 24 year lifespan, Mega Man’s fame spreads from its humble roots on the NES. And in the true meaning of what it is to be a sequel, Mega Man 2 takes everything that made the original great; makes it better and cranks it up past eleven to infinity and beyond. With levels that each have its own unique theme, 12 bosses to defeat and a whole range of weaponry to collect, this game makes for a fun adventure indeed. Platforming across levels and defeating enemies with your Mega Buster is fluid and it’s not hard to put Mega man where you want him on the screen with enough practice. Each level has its own little gimmick to master and defeat along with its final boss with any of the weapons you collect along the way. Will you tackle Quick Man’s beams of insta-death with your wit or just use the Time Stopper if you decide to beat down Flash Man beforehand? The choice yours. You can tackle this game in so many different ways and with multiple difficulties; this is one that will grow on you each time you play. No two gameplays are ever completely alike and the different routes to take to the end fight with Dr. Wily feels rewarding at the end. This isn’t a terribly difficult game but if you don’t keep your wits about you, you’re sure to see the game over screen quite a few times. But with unlimited continues and a password system, it’s not too hard to get back in fray and get to beating down those Robot Masters. The music is also astonishing; dishing out tones you’d think were more suitable for the much more powerful Super Nintendo but all in the small compact case of your friendly 8-bit Nintendo. Some of the tunes here will be stuck in your head for years to come and will always remind you of the fight to get that Dr. Wily. I mean, it’s been 17 years and I still can’t get the themes from Bubble Man’s Stage and Dr. Wily’s Stage 1 and 2 out of my head! This game is the essence of what it means to play an 8-bit game. Everything from the sprite animations to the songs of each stage scream perfection; this is a game you just don’t want to ever put down. This is quite possibly the greatest game on this system alongside The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. 3. For all this, Mega Man 2 gains the honor of earning a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

Mega Man 2
Hello. This is the second game in the Mega Man series. This game was better then the 1st one, in my opinion. In this game you can use a password to continue from the level you previously finished. Also, you can play on either difficulty, normal or difficult. I read that the difficult option in this game is the default difficulty in the japanese version, so if you want to play the game the way it was meant to be then play on difficult. The only difference is that on difficult you take more damage from some enemies and also some enemies and all the bosses need to take more shots before they are defeated. This game is just like the previous one, you are very limited to what you can do. You can still only move, jump, and shoot. If this is the first time you are playing a Mega Man game then basically, what you do in the game is choose one of the 8 robot master stages, go through the level, fight the boss and get one of the bosses weapons. That weapon can be used to usually defeat another boss easily. Then you write down the password and enter it later to continue. If you figure out the order that works for you then you can easily get through the boss fights. You must go through at least one boss fight with the M Buster. In this game after defeating certain robot masters you get items from Dr. Light that help you get through the levels. There are 3 items and you only need to use them in the Dr. Wily stages, you don't have to use them in the robot master stages. In this game there are 8 robot masters instead of 6 as in the previous game. Also, the robot masters in this were actually created by Dr. Wily, the ones in the 1st game were created by Dr. Light. That's not a big deal but I thought some people might want to know that. When you defeat the 8 robot masters then you go to the Dr. Wily stages just like the 1st game. This game also isn't as difficult as the later ones even on difficult mode. If you are looking for a more difficult Mega Man game I would reccomend Mega Man 3 or 5.
