Nintendo 64 N64 Atomic Purple Controller

Got the atomic purple controller and it didn't disappoint, joystick is tight and condition is really good. All in all got to love Lukie Games prices and the quality of thier items are really good.

This was delivered to me last week and it works like a charm. It is also in excellent condition and is very clean, unlike another place I ordered a controller from.

I am so excited to add a 64 to my collection of older consoles and this atomic purple controller was my favorite as a child. Everything worked perfect except for the right direction button. I emailed Lukie support right away and they respond immediately. The controller is currently on its way back to Lukie to be fixed or replaced as I understood. I appreciate Lukie’s support team resolving my issue very quickly and look forward to getting back my face purple controller.

I purchased 2 of these and they both had issues with the sticks wearing out quickly, which was annoying. Was very pleased, however, with the level of customer service and the ease of returning them.

For my new N64 system I needed “girl” controller for me when I play against my boy, and this one is perfect! I wish I had this color when I was little! ... I can’t say how well this controller works, yet, because I’m waiting to give the system to my 11 year old boy for Easter, and I’m hoping he is as excited to retro game with his mom as I was excited to receive this from my parents when I was his age.

The joystick it's really hard. Aint an original one. Maybe it is a third-party joystick. You should informe us in the description. Thanks.

I bought two N 64controllers. Shipped promptly. Have used both for a few hours & so far so good. I don't use the "joystick controller" though, so I can't speak to how good that works.

I like the color and the feel of the controller. However, just like many "refurbished" controllers, the thumb-stick reacts more like a "digital" stick than an analog stick. As an example, when playing Super Mario, you have to move the stick a considerable amount before you get any movement. And then, it;s off to the races. There seems to be no ease of transition from null to slight. So, I guess I need to find which replacement part (thumb-stick) is the best and replace it myself.

Obviously the throttle is the most important part of a refurbed N64 controller's condition, and mine works nice and cleanly. The Z button is very sticky though... it works, but without any "click" feedback upon pressing it.

I was very pleased with this controller, I bought two from different places for the same price (25$) and the Lukie games controller was much higher quality. The stick was not loose nor too stiff, and it was very clean. Everything came nicely packaged and wrapped. Definitively recommend!
